      Why all of a sudden are we seeing random updates for relatively minor issues within the MagicMirror Distro?

      I thought we were going to keep it quarterly?

      The "E" in "Javascript" stands for "Easy"

        @BKeyport

        these updates were not intended

        • first one: I updated the README without thinking of update notifications
        • second one (today): A PR was accidentially merged to master instead of develop

        We are working on solutions to avoid such things in the future, e.g.

        • using a workflow which prevents creating PR’s on master
        • the update notification module will only send notifications if a new commit contains a tag (coming with next release) so we are able to fix e.g. README content

          @karsten13 So we probably don’t want to update our installs it sounds like?

              What should I do if I already updated?

                @Zwirbel nothing.no code changed, the version did not change.

                if you used my script it would have exited as the version did not change

                  for clarification: it doesn’t matter if you update or not.

                  With the updates you have a new readme file (which is irrelevant for the install) and improved thai language files (only relevant if you use thai language).
