      Here is my MMM-DHT22 Module.
      Temperature and Humidity monitoring Module for MagicMirror2 that works for DHT22 and AM2302 sensors.

      It’s analog to @psk’s Module: https://forum.magicmirror.builders/topic/726/mmm-temperature-humidity-module-dht11-dht22-and-am2302-sensors

      But I don’t want to run MagicMirror as Root with sudo.

        Does it also work with the DHT-11?

          @Bangee Just me being confused: this needs sudo rights, doesn’t it? You just do not want to start the mirror with sudo?

            @MxBln I did not check this.

            @Jopyth yes, it needs a sudo command inside the app.

              Hi guys

              I have some problems with this module. I test it with two DHT22 and I have always the same strange thing. Please look my short clip: [Youtube](video: https://youtu.be/gvuq6A13fw8). Sometimes it shows quickly the exact Temp and sometimes strange values but most of the time it shows undefined. I try to made a skipt outside of the MM and in this picture (link) you can see , at the same time my skript shows the right value but in MM its undefined.
              Can someone test this module or help me to find the fault? THX a lot for any help!

                What’s the result when you try this command directli in your terminal:

                go to cd MagicMirror/modules/MMM-DHT22/

                sudo ./dht_var 2

                Replace 2 with your sensor Pin

                I’ve tested this on two different Pi’s

                  @Bangee ok, now I’m confused ;o)
                  Bild Text

                  The first 5 lines I tried during my MM was working but nothing happend, i had to wait 2 minutes and it shows just a new comment line. After i stopped my MM it was working like a charm (last two lines). What I’m doing wrong?..

                    I don’t now atm :-)

                    it looks like something is blocking the dht_var script when your MM is running

                    Do you have error in your MM logs?

                        I’ve tried this on an other pi and it works …

                        can you uncomment line 33 in node_helper.js to check if he tries to write something in to the logs?

                        	console.log("Log: " + temp + " - " + hum);
