@Miked180 see my response in the other topic… i wrote a module for using a webcam to control screen… https://github.com/sdetweil/MMM-SleepWake it uses a linux module to detect camera motion sudo apt-get install motion I didn’t want to write and maintain code to interface to an unlimited list of potential cameras… you can also screen capture on movement, or movie record on movement MMM-SleepWake supports tvservice/dpms and module hiding as ways to blank the screen (none of my TVs support dpms, and most of my MM systems are not PIs (which is only where tvservice works)
